Mr. and Mrs. Smith

This is my first post and Mrs. Brad Smith! It feels great to be married, and it was really great to get back from our honeymoon to a family of 3 (just to clarify...Brad, Milo, and me). We had a wonderful time on our honeymoon to many warm, fun places: Grand Cayman Islands, Cozumel, Costa Maya, and Roatan, Honduras! Brad and I enjoyed spending a lot of quality time together. Most of the stops we greatly enjoyed, but there was this one...Costa Maya...where we both were scared for our lives. We were all excited because many of the crew on the ship told us to head to "downtown beach" because it was to beautiful and inexpensive! AWESOME! We could get some cheap massages and ride some jet skis. Then we could just soak up the sun and enjoy ourselves. Well, lets just say that it looked as though all of the tree tops there had been bulldozed and the beach that the non-airconditioned bus took us to was desolate. Luckily while we were there we met another couple, Pam and Rick, who were from the ship. Pam was a nurse and Rick was in the Navy. When I saw that Rick and Brad looked scared to death, I decided it was probably a good idea to get the next taxi and head to the pool not too far from where the ship had docked! Pheww, just glad we made it out of there alive.

Since we have gotten back we have gotten our kitchen organized with all of our new dishes, silverware, and pots and pans. It is so nice just to have all this stuff organized finally. We also have been getting the remainder of the stuff from my apartment and into our house. I never thought moving from a one-bedroom apartment would be so difficult and require so many trips! Lets just say, lots of stuff will be given to goodwill! I will post pictures later of our house, in particular our newly painted bathroom and newly decorated bedroom! Until then, I must go write thank you notes!
